Daryoush's educational background (PhD in Clinical Psychology), years of service to homeless and mentally disabled people and later transition to a successful local business leader well serve him for service to the community on the San Rafael City Council.
In addition to these attributes, Daryoush has immersed himself in service by participating on many boards and commissions associated with the City as well as serving on the Chamber of Commerce and his Homeowners Board in San Rafael.

I met Daryoush Davidi when we were both appointed to the San Rafael Police Advisory and Accountability Committee three years ago. I have been extremely impressed with him. He is smart, astute, kind, extremely intelligent and shows great leadership. He is a problem solver and a creative solution kind of guy.
Leveraging his background in psychology, he transitioned into the organic fruit industry to launch his own date and fig business, proudly reviving and modernizing a trade that his family once owned. So he has a broad background in both the “people” arena and the economic arena.
His company is based in the Canal in San Rafael and he is deeply involved in the Latinx community.
