Words from San Rafael Endorsers
Gary Ragghianti,
Former San Rafael City Attorney
Rarely does a public entity have such a uniquely qualified individual seeking election as Daryoush Davidi. I am a proud supporter of his candidacy for the San Rafael City Council.
Daryoush's educational background (PhD in Clinical Psychology), years of service to homeless and mentally disabled people and later transition to a successful local business leader well serve him for service to the community on the San Rafael City Council.
In addition to these attributes, Daryoush has immersed himself in service by participating on many boards and commissions associated with the City as well as serving on the Chamber of Commerce and his Homeowners Board in San Rafael.
I have spent many years representing public agencies. I recommend without hesitancy or reservation a vote for Daryoush Davidi in November for San Rafael City Council.
Words from Marin County Endorsers
Paula Freschi Kamena,
Former Marin County
District Attorney
I met Daryoush Davidi when we were both appointed to the San Rafael Police Advisory and Accountability Committee three years ago. I have been extremely impressed with him. He is smart, astute, kind, extremely intelligent and shows great leadership. He is a problem solver and a creative solution kind of guy.
Leveraging his background in psychology, he transitioned into the organic fruit industry to launch his own date and fig business, proudly reviving and modernizing a trade that his family once owned. So he has a broad background in both the “people” arena and the economic arena.
His company is based in the Canal in San Rafael and he is deeply involved in the Latinx community. He has been an actively contributing to our San Rafael community for years, serving on the Fire Foundation Board, the Peacock Gap Homeowners Association, the Chamber of Commerce and more. Two of his core beliefs are transparency and communication. He believes in local solutions to the problems our community faces. He will be a great leader when elected to our city council and I urge you to join me in voting for him in November.
